On this page I will upload exemplar videos for those students who may need some help. Enjoy watching and learning!
Here is Emily’s version of “Pizza Dilemma”. She is going to explain it a little differently.

Welcome to 3rd grade! This week’s exemplar is called “Fish Dilemma” and Emily will not solve it for you. She is going to show you a couple of strategies to use!

This week’s exemplar is called “Eating Grapes” only Emily and I didn’t have any grapes so we used carrots!

This week’s exemplar is called “Snow Play”. We don’t do very much of this here in Texas, but it is fun to imagine!

This week’s exemplar is called “Hot Chocolate”. See if you can guess what a ladle is!

This week’s exemplar is called “Picking Apples”.

This week’s exemplar is called “Jolly Ranchers”!

This week’s exemplar is called “Mice on Cheese”. It is also the same type of problem as last week, so, SURPRISE! no video kids. You can do it!! (hint: think “part,part, whole”).

The exemplar is actually called “Frogs in a pond” but the homework is a little different. Emily is back to teach you this one.

We have another surprise this week with yet another daughter! Watch how Farry cuts up a pizza into fractional parts so she can share with friends!

This week’s exemplar is “Acorns”. Emily was at the movies, so, well, you will have to watch…..

 

This week’s exemplar is called “Seats and Tables” I had some help from the class to make this.

This week’s exemplar is actually “Jelly Beans”. Well, they are awfully small so Emily and I used oranges and changed it up a bit. It’s funny to watch her “eat” the oranges!
