Habit 3: Put First Things First

Work first, then play! I spend my time on things that are most important. This means I say no to things I know I should not do. I set priorities, make a schedule, and follow my plan. I am organized.

Today we read The Little Red Hen by Paul Galdone. We read about how the Little Red Hen did all of her work first and then was able to enjoy the cake she baked. The cat, dog and mouse on the other hand were not able to enjoy it with her because they chose to play instead of work.

I put my schoolwork first, before playing on my ipod. I put excercise first before playing video games.
