7th Period ACL Non-Fiction: Skyscrapers by Judith Dupré

Hey Guys,

I have been reading Skyscrapers: A History of the World’s Most Extraordinary Buildings by Judith Dupré which is a Non-Fiction book about the tallest and most amazing buildings in the world and also describes in detail how tall and what the requirements to make the building where. The author also describes exactly how the architect built the building and what obstacle the creator of the building had to complete to make the one of a kind skyscraper.

Something that interests me about this topic is how the architect manages to make the building look nice while giving it enough architectural support to prevent it from collapsing down on itself. My favorite subject is math which is mostly needed in architecture and i hope to be an architect one day.

Sincerly,

Ben E
