7th period ACL Non-Fiction: The Diary Of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Hello Class,

This month I am ready The Diary Of A Young Girl by Anne Frank. The book consists of Anne Frank’s diary entries during her time in hiding during the Holocaust. Basically, Anne and her family plus another jewish family are hiding in the attic of a german family who wanted to help them not be discovered by the nazi forces during the war. During this time Anne writes in her diary about her emotions and about all her hopes and dream when her hardship is finally over.

Something new I learned was learning how different the jewish life was before the holocaust began, and how different jews would deal with what was happening to them. I leaned this by reading books in a first account of the holocaust such as this book and Night by Elie Wiesel.

Thanks for Reading,

Claudia G.
