Vote For Bulverde Creek!

glitter - http://www.sparklee.com

Mrs. Kistler entered Bulverde Creek in a Clorox grant program and we are a finalist for $50,000 in technology money.

How can we win? We need everyone to vote!

How do you vote? There are TWO ways to vote everyday. But first, you must be age 13 or older.

First way to vote: Text the message clorox9368 to the number 44144

Second way to vote: Go to Clorox, Power a Bright Future

and register your e-mail address. Then, login to vote.

How often can you vote? EVERYDAYbetween now and December 9th!

To help us Rock Our Vote, we were on the news!

Cleto, from WOAI, did his morning show from our school. Mrs. Kistler was interviewed on by Cleto.

Cleto helps us get out the vote!

Still not convinced? Let’s try a little video persuasion! Can you spot Mrs. Kistler? Here’s a clue: It was crazy hair day when we filmed.

We hope our blog buddy teachers will vote for us! From our blog buddies, what did you think of our video? Were we convincing? What are your ideas to help us win votes?

  5. Hello Mrs. Kistler! My name is Ana Maria and I’m from California and I’m in Mr. Miller’s class. I really love your blog. I especially like the spinning Earth. I can’t believe that you guys might win fifty thousand dollars as technology money. I have a question, what are you guys going to use the money for? Well thanks and please visit my Awesome blog! It is pretty cool.

    1. Dear Ana Maria,

Thanks for visiting! I am a fan of the globe, too. I imagine you have a blast with Mr. Miller and geography. He is the Google Earth master! I’ve learned so much from him.

We plan to use the $50,000 for I-Pads, I-Pad apps, new laptops and Interactive White Boards. Does your school have a lot of technology? What I-Pad apps have you used? Can you recommend anything?

      Sincerely,
      Mrs. Kistler

  11. Dear mrs kistler

video of a student rapping is really funny. Plase value is one of our go to strategies but we call it base ten.We use other strategies like frontend old fashion and like I said

  12. Dear Mrs Kislers class,
Great job with your rap video. There is one big difference between your school and ours…we don’t put a comma between the thousands and hundreds digits. We write our nunbers like this…2354…see there is no comma. Why would you want to get new computers? Are they old and brok in? WHen we watched your video all of my class was amazed at how cool it looked. ickspashiley my friend chole and also me.

    Nice job of your work

My son’s school was in a program much the same recently. Their goal was to purchase new playground equipment. The reached the semi-finals level but never made it to the finals. Perhaps they will try for it again next year. Keep up the good work.

  19. Dear Mrs.Kistler and 49ers,
That song is SUPER COOOOL!!! Did you get the 50 grand? If you did what all did you spend it on? If we won all that money our class would probably spend it on a new smart board. Ours is never lined up. Would you spend it on a new smart board?
