My Paper World

The Crafty Classroom

As a Matter of Fact…

We love Science experiments!

Yesterday, we rotated to each of the 2nd grade classrooms to complete and record the results for 4 different Matter experiments.

Today, we separated into 4 groups. Each group was given an experiment from yesterday and asked to explain the experiment and how it pertains to matter.

Below is an example of one of the “App-Smashing” group products!

Bike Rodeo

The Bike Rodeo was two weeks ago, but I couldn’t miss out on posting these pictures! All of the participants did a wonderful job!

New Website

This year, NEISD was not able to purchase Ticket to Read for our school. The students seemed pretty bummed about that, so I have been looking for an alternative. I found a website called Moby Max, which is similar. Although it seems to provide a lot more instructional activities on reading, math, and language skills. Our class tried it out today in the computer lab and everyone liked it. They all liked it so much that they wanted me to share it on our blog. So here ya go!

Your child will need to click on the link below and type in their name as the username and password. No capitals letters needed.

Moby Max

***Parents, I would appreciate your feedback as well. I plan on sharing it with the rest of the school, if our class finds it worthwhile. Thank you!
