Science Teamwork
Students worked in teams to learn about a season. Each student was assigned a job, such as Team Leader, Task Master, Material Manager, Tech Support, and Team Encourager. Each child was also responsible for information on the season. I am very proud of the way they engaged in their work.

Guest Reader
We had a beautiful celebration of our grandparents this morning. Thanks to all of the grandparents who were able to make it to our class. A special thanks to Mr. Planas for being our guest reader. He and his granddaughter read A Walk with Grandpa by Sharon Soloman.
Precious Self-Portraits
Personality shines through these precious self-portraits! Students drew these portraits after celebrating Grandparent’s Day in the morning.
Hooray for Grandparents!
Learning Procedures
Students enter the room, get their folders and supplies, and then read from their poetry folders. I am so proud of how they already enter the room ready to learn. They are also learning to work with partners and small groups at different task stations. You can see that they are engaged in their learning.
Math in Room 411
Students are learning how to communicate their thought process as they solve math problems and work in math stations.
