Punished – A Book Review- by Hareem M.
I think you may be wondering what a pun is. A pun is a play of words. It uses words in a punny (funny) play. Logan goes back to the man who punished him and asks him if there is any way to unpunish him. He said yes, there is a way, so he gave him tasks to do.
The first thing Logan has to is find seven oxymorons. He gives Logan a camera to take pictures of oxymorons. Oxymorons are phrases that use opposites but actually mean something. For example one of the oxymorons is “pretty ugly.” If the camera doesn’t take the picture it isn’t a oxymoron. Logan goes around and looks for oxymorons. He goes to a store looking and………HE FINDS ONE!!! The oxymoron he finds is “hot chili.” One kind of chilly means cold, but the other means a kind of food we eat. Logan took the picture and it worked! So he went around and found some more oxymorons.
When Logan returns the camera to the professor, he thinks he might be unpunished but the professor gives him another task to do. I don’t want to tell you too much more, so you’ll have to find out yourself by reading the book!
