Habit 5 — Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Listen Before You Talk
I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings. I try to see things from their viewpoints. I listen to others without interrupting. I am confident in voicing my ideas. I look people in the eyes when talking.

When my teacher gives instructions I raise my hand when I have a question.

I respect my friends when I listen to them when they are speaking. I don’t interupt them. I try to be a good listener.

i listen with my ears and try not to interrupt. Sometimes I have a hard time expressing my feelings. I will keep working on it.

At soccer practice and soccer games I have to listen to my coach and team mates so that we can play as a team.
